There is a lot of content that I consume each week on topics such as design, web strategy, SEO, and productivity. Some of it is posted to my various social media channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Google+. A few of those posts stand out more than the others. Here are some of last weeks favorites.
January 19 was Martin Luther King, Jr. day and it was very inspiring to read all the posts and quotes that were posted on that day. My oldest son is 12 and over the years we have talked about Dr. King and what his legacy is. Especially to those of us who grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. The post “How to Talk to Your Kids About Martin Luther King Any Day of the Year” is a good guide in what to discuss at what age you child is at the time.
I have read good and bad stories about having business partners. I have had two on two different occasions and I have been lucky enough to have had good ones. So much so that I am still friends with both. That seems rare if some of the stories have read are to be believed. With this in mind, “What ‘I Love Lucy’ Taught Me About Business Partnerships” was a story that needed to read.
I am going to keep preaching the Pinterest gospel. It isn’t the right tool for most of my clients but if you sell products you definitely need to read “How Pinterest Is Heavenly For Ecommerce.”
