Even with the Christmas and New Years holiday’s there was a lot of content that I was consuming on topics such as design, web strategy, SEO, and productivity. Some of it was posted to my various social media channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Google+. A few of those posts stood out more than the others. Here are some of last weeks favorites.
Email is tricky business. When you read your post in your head it has all those inflections and cues that you hope your reader will pickup on. Of course they can’t. I found a great post on “Email etiquette for entrepreneurs.” My suggestion for email that is very important is to write it Word or Notepad or whatever first so you will read through it before you hit send.
Explainer videos are great ways to tell your story or help explain why people need to do business with you. It’s also a great way to show your companies personality by explaining something. Here are “10 Reasons Why Your Business Needs an Explainer Video.” You should consider producing one during 2015.
Digital media is changing every day. It can be pretty difficult to keep up but we still try. On top of that there are other self-improvement or non-business skills that we would like to master.
