Center for the Study of Community Health Website

The website I designed for the UAB Center for the Study of Community Health (CSCH) enhances accessibility, clarity, and engagement for a leading public-health research center within the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health. The CSCH focuses on reducing health risks and advancing community well-being across Alabama through collaborative research, education, and partnerships with local organizations and residents.
This project centered on:
- Clean, intuitive information architecture tailored to diverse audiences — researchers, students, community partners, and the public.
- Responsive, user-first design that highlights key programs, funding opportunities, and community initiatives.
- Consistent brand alignment with UAB’s public health mission while prioritizing readability and ease of navigation for stakeholders across sectors.
- Dynamic content presentation for news, resources, and ongoing research to support community engagement and real-time updates.
The resulting site supports the Center’s mission to connect people with the tools, partnerships, and knowledge needed to improve health outcomes throughout the region.
